Christian for a Passport?
An Afghan friend has falsely accused us of becoming a follower of Jesus because of the citizenship or passport of a Western country. Do Afghans become Christian for a passport?
Transcript:
An Afghan friend of ours has written: "Because of which country's citizenship and passport did you become an apostate?"
Dear friend, I am a follower of Jesus Christ and believe in the one and only God as a follower of Jesus Christ. I believe in the divine scriptures that have been revealed to us through the inspiration of God to the prophets. I believe in the final Word, Jesus Christ, who is the Word of God; who is the final message of God to humanity. I believe in the Day of Judgment; in the judgment of all humans. So instead of accusing or stamping the seal of disbelief and apostasy on me, it is better to first ask, what do I believe in?
Second, accusing is very easy, false accusation is a sin. Asking questions like, "Did you become an apostate for citizenship or for money, wealth, and such things?" is not right. I became a follower of Jesus Christ because I saw and experienced the love of God in Jesus Christ. So instead of accusing me falsely, I hope we can talk about this topic, have a dialogue: you can ask me questions and I can answer you.
I would be happy to talk to you when you come on a TikTok Live. I invite you to come to the Live and hear why I became a follower of Jesus Christ as an Afghan.
I want God's grace and blessings in your life, and I hope you ask good questions instead of falsely accusing followers of Jesus.
